TOHO & ELECTRIC CALLBOY REIMAGINE ‘MY HERO ACADEMIA’ FLAGSHIP TRACK “YOU SAY RUN” FOR 10TH ANNIVERSARY

LOS ANGELES / TOKYO (Sept 21, 2026) — Toho Co., Ltd. has officially released a 10th-anniversary reimagining of “You Say Run,” the signature orchestral track from the My Hero Academia anime soundtrack. Composed by series composer Yuki Hayashi, the new version features vocals and electronicore production from German band Electric Callboy (Kevin Ratajczak and Nico Sallach).

Following a live stage debut at the “My Hero Academia IN CONCERT” event in London on September 20, the collaboration launched globally across digital streaming platforms on September 22, 2026.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY & PRODUCTION NOTES

• Cross-Genre Collaboration: Fuses Hayashi’s original symphonic arrangement with Electric Callboy’s mix of metalcore breakdowns, electronic dance hooks, and English vocals.

• 10th Anniversary Project: Serves as a primary promotional anchor for My Hero Academia The Animation 10th Anniversary, running throughout 2026 across global markets.

• Custom Key Visual: Studio Bones (Bones Film) unveiled a newly commissioned illustration of protagonist Izuku Midoriya (“Deku”) executing a “SMASH,” directly referencing the cover art of the original Season 1 soundtrack.
