Nintendo Unveils Lead Cast For Live-Action Legend of Zelda Film

Nintendo has quietly announced via its social media channels the lead cast for the forthcoming live-action Legend of Zelda film currently in production along with the release date. The actors represent relatively new and young actors, with English actress Bo Bragson of the Disney+ series Renegade Nell cast in the role of Princess Zelda, with fellow British actor Benjamin Evan-Ainsworth of the live-action Pinocchio adaptation being cast in the role of Link. The first images have been released and are featured below.

Nintendo has also confirmed a Spring 2027 release date of May 7, 2027, but has yet to confirm whether it will be a simultaneous global release or a staggered regional release, as was done for previous production The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
