Tenjho Tenge Ending in August in Japan

image The Ultra Jump manga anthology and magazine will publish the last chapter of the popular seinen manga Tenjho Tenge in the forthcoming September issue releasing on August 19th in Japan.

The manga authored by Oh Great! (Ogurei Ito) was formerly published by the soon to be defunct CMX Manga imprint run by DC Comics and was the subject of much controversy when first published as the first volume was released censored.  The imprint attempted to restore goodwill with fans by publishing subsequent volumes uncensored starting with the 15th volume, with little success.

Currently, 18 volumes of the manga have been published in the US, although the series will go out of print before the release of the 19th volume as it has been solicited, but was slated for release after the July 1st shutdown of CMX.
