Sentai Filmworks Confirms English Dub for Persona 4 The Animation

[media-credit name=”The Anime Network” align=”alignright” width=”585″][/media-credit]Sentai Filmworks has confirmed that it will dub the Persona 4 anime adaptation for its home video release next year, but refused to elaborate on whether it would retain the English dub cast for the game for the anime’s English dub. While the game’s English dub cast does feature several prominent voice actors from various studios and well-known anime titles, it’s currently not known whether those actors will be either able to or willing to reprise their respective roles in the game for the English dub, though it has been the single largest request from fans since the confirmation of the series license.

The anime adaptation currently features almost the entire Japanese voice cast from the game save for the role of Igor, as the voice actor for that role passed away in 2010.
