OreImo Episode 2 Leaked from ANN Before Japanese Airing

Not long after OreImo’s North American streaming premiere this afternoon, it seems some enterprising individuals have managed to pull the second episode from ANN’s servers a day before Japanese airing and a full week before its intended scheduled North American stream next week.

The news and screenshots have been making the rounds across the Japanese blogosphere as well as early reviews popping up on the Western side and ANN has yet to issue an official statement on the developing situation, being that it is the exclusive streaming partner for OreImo with Aniplex USA.

Comparisons to Funimation’s One Piece leak incident from last year are inevitable.  There’s no 100% secure way to protect a stream from being ripped after all.

Update: ANN CEO Christopher MacDonald has confirmed that the organization is investigating the cause of the leak.
