Nintendo Launches Netflix App on Wii Shop Channel

Following Sony’s lead, Nintendo has announced the rollout of its own native NetFlix application rolling out to Wii owners today on the Wii Shop Channel.  Like Sony’s application it features support for multichannel Dolby Digital surround sound, but does not support streaming content in HD.
