Peepo Choo Morning

Marc Bernabe’s Masters of Manga has updated with a short video featuring Peepo Choo/MBQ author Felipe Smith, breaking down what it takes to get into the business of drawing manga at a professional level.

Felipe Smith first came to prominence under Tokyopop’s former original English language publishing initiative with his first title in MBQ in 2006, then received the opportunity to create a new serial for Japan’s Morning anthology in 2008 which became Peepo Choo, a scathing look at subcultures such as comics and manga/anime through the lens of an otaku seeking to escape his boring life.

Peepo Choo is currently being published in the US by Vertical. Both the English and Spanish videos are posted after the continue reading link.
