CNN has filed a video report detailing the work done by Buddhist monk Kansho Tagai who calls himself  Mr. Happy and is  a rapper using hip-hop music combined with Buddhist teachings to reconnect with young people who say Buddhist sutras are hard to understand otherwise.

Similarly, the Monk Bar is also detailed with monk and bartender Zenshin Fujioka explaining that older temples are disconnected from the modern person, as the Buddhist religion has suffered a drop in followers within the past generation in Japan.
