haruhi-chanAccording to the dedicated Haruhi webpage, the long-awaited Suzumiya Haruhi-Chan parody anime series will begin broadcasting on Kadokawa’s YouTube channel beginning on Friday February the 13th (a slight nod to the paranormal interests of the bespoke character) beginning at 10:00 PM JST (5AM PST/7 AM CST/8 AM EST).

An earlier report had circulated that the series was in perpetual limbo, but has since been clarified to refer to the delay being related to music producer Lantis delaying the delivery of the music for the series.

The comments were made by associated staff members during a radio interview which were initially being interpreted to mean that actual production had not started, when in fact the delay was only music related. The series is itself based off of a parody 4-panel manga published by Kadokawa.
