Funimation Licenses The Hunter of the Witch (El Cazador De La Bruja)

Funimation has updated their new blog again with preliminary details on their newest license in El Cazador De La Bruja, or The Hunter of the Witch (when translated to English).

The series is the third in the Bee Train “Girls with Guns” concept series of anime first beginning with Noir, then continuing on with Madlax, until the conclusion of the concept with El Cazador De La Bruja.  The series follows the tropes established in the first two series when a fateful encounter between Ellis, a fugitive girl with amnesia, a troubled past, and supernatural powers, and Nadie, a feisty bounty hunter, leads to the two of them traveling together in search of the key to unlocking Ellis’ past.

The series will be released in two half season sets later this year.
