First Details on Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas Surface

Humberto Saabedra

SS-Lost Canvas TMS Entertainment has opened an information page in English for series details on the forthcoming Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas OVA series.

The series will be set in Europe 243 years before the main Saint Seiya storyline, making it a prequel to the 1988 series that spawned countless action figures and entertained audiences in Japan, Europe and Latin America before hitting the US as the Knights of the Zodiac adaptation and the aborted Saint Seiya release by ADV in 2004.

The series will center on new characters Tenma, Alone, and Sasha becoming the first vessels for the King of Hades, a Pegasus Knight, and the Goddess Athena respectively.  The series will be produced as a 13 episode 30-minute OVA series in the vein of the prior Hades Saga.
