home-logos-bandaiSome posters on Mania Anime are jumping the gun about Bandai possibly losing Technicolor as its newest replicator after Slashfilm filed a report that the Thomson SA owned division that specializes in disc manufacturing and replication for Hollywood was on the brink of being sold off.

The original source for the report in Nikki Finke via the Deadline Hollywood Daily column has since updated her original report stating that Technicolor emphasized Thursday a focus on providing services to content creators in the movie and media industries, with one insider going as far as stating that Thomson will appeal to the French government for assistance to continue operations due to balance sheet issues and the pending debt covenant for refinancing that is close to being due, with the announcement expected soon.
