CLAMP's GATE 7 English Preview Available

Publishing industry trade publication Publisher’s Weekly is hosting an exclusive English-language preview of Gate 7 from CLAMP, scheduled to be released on October 25th by Dark Horse Comics.

The preview is an introductory panel from the work and demonstrates the English translation currently in progress. The  English version of CLAMP 7 is intended as a collaboration between Dark Horse Comics and CLAMP, with Publisher’s Weekly taking care to note that the author circle had authorized the English preview.

However, it should be noted that the synopsis of the series as given by Publisher’s Weekly is incorrect regarding one of the characters in Hana, who is described as female in the article, while manga translator William Flanagan confirms that the character is in fact gender neutral according to the Japanese serialization, owing to CLAMP’s propensity for writing gender neutral characters.
