Bandai Entertainment to Use Technicolor for DVD Replication

Humberto Saabedra

home-logos-bandaiBandai Entertainment has announced in a press release that it will contract with noted disc replicator Technicolor Inc to manufacture its standard definition DVDs.  The agreement includes future releases as well as catalog titles with specific series to be annouced at a later date.  Bandai Entertainment has had an uncharacteristically poor track record regarding disc manufacturing lately with its biggest titles in Code Geass and Gurren Lagann, as well as disc recall programs becoming an almost expected certainty for new releases.

With this development, it seems that Bandai Entertainment is making proactive steps to ensure that its product will be well-produced and reliable for many of its customers.
