AX Staffers Threaten Board of Directors with Walkout

animeexpologo.jpgI didn’t forget about the internal strife between AX staffers and the higher-ups, since its kind of important that everything be sorted out before prep ramps up later in the year.  I’d like to go myself since it would be my first convention ever as an attendee and I’d also like to cover it as a member of the press, but I digress.

Someone told me earlier today that the staff is threatening a walkout on the Board of Directors if they do not replace CEO Michael Lattanzio and PR director Kim Groomes, which potentially puts the convention in jeopardy.

Take it as you will, but the dissatisfaction with the current leadership seems to be growing on a daily basis and it doesn’t look like its getting better anytime soon.  As I’ve said all along, my email box is open and anonymous if anyone out there on either side wants to tell their story.
