Anime Network Launches On Demand Service

The Anime Network has announced that it will roll out an on demand option this month to address long-standing issues with show selection over cable systems carrying the venerable video on demand service.

The new On Demand service began yesterday with the debut of Destiny of the Shrine Maiden (Kannazuki no Miko) as of yesterday, with Polyphonica and Special A debuting simultaneously on January 14th and Blue Drop on the 21st.

The above option will also be made available on its online portal for those cable subscribers without the VOD service and will be refreshed every month with new episodes.
