Following up on the conclusion of the Iron Man anime adaptation and the forthcoming premiere of the Wolverine anime this week, Animax has posted the official logos for the next Marvel Anime adaptations in X-Men and Blade, both airing later this year. Like Iron Man and Wolverine, the X-Men and Blade adaptations will be produced by Madhouse and air first in Japan before airing in the US.
While Iron Man has been viewed by many in Japan to be a success, the US fanbase has been decidedly more critical in its opinion of the show, with many noted reviewers panning the show due to its lower than expected animation quality and consistency in narrative.
