AM2 Con Blog Hacked, Con Still On

Humberto Saabedra

Over the weekend, the AM2 Blog and companion Facebook page were the victim of a rather stupid prank whereby the following message was posted claiming that the convention’s numerous guests would be moved to the competing Anime Expo in Downtown Los Angeles.

Fake AM2 Post

Could have fooled anyone really, but how do you LOSE money from exhibitor space and Passport sales when the convention is free because of the exhibitor space sales and sponsorships? Anyway, I was asked to relay that the convention is still going on and that it isn’t cancelled, so have no fear about missing SCANDAL Madhouse, AniMaid Cafe and all the other cool stuff at AM2.
