Ameba Launches Pico Virtual World in English via Facebook

The Japanese social and blog network known as Ameba has officially launched its virtual world known as pico in English via Facebook as an app on the social network as well as a dedicated English portal after debuting in March. The virtual world functions identically to other services such as Gaia where avatars can be created and virtual items can be purchased for further customization while also enabling interaction with other users from around the world.
