Japanese RC-Powered Brick Car Is Sadly Not Lego Compatible

BlockCarAs Akihabara is known as the tech/gadget mecca of Japan to outsiders, many often ignore the large market for radio controlled cars that many such enthusiasts hold in high reverence.

One such product that is sure to provide hours of fun is the Block Radio Control R/C car. The similarity to LEGO bricks is obvious, unfortunately it is not compatible with such pieces.

It’s bundled with a specific number of assorted pieces and a motorized base on which to assemble almost anything that comes to mind, with the added bonus of being able to control it and invariably explode the creation up into pieces before making a new form and starting anew.

The kit is available for $22 plus shipping from Strapya-World.
