Humberto Saabedra

CNN has filed the obligatory fluff piece on the woes being experienced in the Japanese animation industry as a result of the recession, profiling animators and the executive director of the Association of Japanese Animators on the effects of the recession on the industry, while inserting the internet downloading is hurting the industry line.

In related fluff, Bloomberg Television filed a recent report on the life-size scale Gundam in Odaiba with a related short interview with series creator Yoshiyuki Tomino, in which he admits the stories are written to sell as many toys as possible along with being compelling.
