Black Lagoon to Get New Three Episode OVA in 2010

The official Monthly Sunday GX Black Lagoon page has announced that the third anime adaptation of the 2006-2007 anime series will be a three episode OVA project, with series director Sunao Katabuchi returning from the first two Black Lagoon anime projects along with character designer Masanori Shino and the Madhouse anime studio handling animation production according to Moon Phase Comments.

Viz Media will publish the seventh volume of the manga next month, while anime distributor Funimation is handling domestic distribution of the first two series in Black Lagoon and Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage.
