Following up on a previous report, Verizon has confirmed pricing details for its forthcoming launch of the Palm Pre and Pixi Plus variants. As expected, the Pre Plus will cost $149.99 after $100 mail-in rebate and the Pixi will cost $99.99 after $100 mail-in rebate.

Both devices will require a voice plan at a minimum of $40 per month, $30 device data plan and the Mobile HotSpot application, which will allow the Pre and Pixi to act as a Wi-Fi modem, will be offered at a $40 premium alongside the required voice and data plans. Messaging is not included in the data or voice plans and is being sold as a separate add-on.

Verizon will also be offering a buy-one-get-one free promotion until February 14 for the Pre and Pixi Plus, with interested customers buying a Palm Pre or Pixi Plus receiving a second Pixi Plus for free after mail in rebate.
