Verizon Confirms 3G Unlimited Data to 4G Upgrades Keep Unlimited Data

Verizon Support Upgrade ConfirmationVerizon’s Wireless support account on Twitter has confirmed that customers with 3G phones that also have unlimited data are able to upgrade to 4G LTE handsets and keep the unlimited data plan on the account, confirming the previous statements made about upgrades and grandfathering ahead of last Thursday’s transition to tiered data plans.

In addition, since the complimentary Mobile Hotspot access period has ended with the rollout of the latest update for the HTC Thunderbolt 4G, the carrier is also allowing current customers with unlimited data access to lock in unlimited monthly Mobile Hotspot access for $30.
