T-Mobile has announced the forthcoming launch of the HTC Wildfire S midrange Android smartphone, set for August 3rd with pricing set at $129.99 after new 2 year agreement under a Classic plan before an additional $50 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to $79.99. Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club will launch the same day with an exclusive black color

The HTC Wildfire S features Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 600MHz processor, 3.2 inch touch display, Sense UI version 3.0, 5.0 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash and video capture along with a micro SD slot.
