During a special event held on the 19th, Studio Deen announced the title for the forthcoming Axis Powers Hetalia feature film, which is now titled Axis Powers Hetalia Shiro Kumere!

To that end, Studio Deen also announced a companion news page for the film at an address encoded in kanji, but the address redirects to a Japanese food blog about tempura after many attempts to assist Gia over Twitter to access the page, which proved unsuccessful, while Deen does state the site as “tentative” for the time being.

Axis Powers Hetalia began as a webcomic about anthropomorphized versions of World War II-era nations, written as a subversive comedy.

The anime adaptation which was produced as a series of shorts, was originally scheduled to air on TV in Japan until South Korean anime fans protested the depiction of the nation as a kimchi-obsessed gamer. Shortly thereafter, it was announced that the anime would only air online and via mobile phones in Japan.

The first season of Axis Powers Hetalia was also recently licensed by Funimation and is slated for release later this year.
