Sprint Releases Update for Samsung Moment, Adds Network Assisted GPS

Sprint has officially released the first firmware update for the Samsung Moment and includes network assisted aGPS support, application updates for third-party apps including Visual Voicemail, NFL, NASCAR and Sprint TV, changes to the Emergency Dial on lock screen and improvements to battery life.
The update now includes a hard reset option in recovery mode as well for device wiping and/or factory reset.
The update is currently only available in Sprint Retail locations with repair facilities and independent repair centers, with the carrier confirming on device over the air updates in the near future.
