Sprint Delays HTC Touch Pro Launch

Sprint is confirming that the long-awaited HTC Touch Pro smart device will be delayed from its original launch date of October 19th to a new window between the end of the month into early November.

The reason given by representatives for the delay concerns issues with adequate supply to meet the expected high demand for the device as the holiday season draws near, as well as having enough stock for third-party retailers such as Best Buy before the national launch through Sprint sales channels, making this the first Sprint HTC device to launch through a third-party before launching directly through the carrier sales network.
