Nokia Announces Surge Social Networking Device for AT&T

Nokia Surge AT&TNokia and AT&T have announced the forthcoming launch of the Surge social networking device.

The device features a horizontal slide layout in the vein of the higher-end E75 business device, but emphasizes multimedia, messaging and social networking by featuring a QVGA landscape display, quadband GSM/EDGE, dual-band HSDPA, 2.0 megapixel camera, Series 60, AT&T Navigator, AT&T Mobile Music, AT&T Video Share, JuiceCaster media sharing application, QWERTY keyboard, microSDHC expansion slot, Bluetooth with stereo audio support and Flash support built into the web browser.

The Nokia Surge will be available on July 19th for $129.99 with a new 2 year agreement before an additional $50 mail-in rebate via debit card, with a minimum $30 data plan required for rebate.
