Mobile Firefox to Possibly Launch Next Week on HTC Touch Pro

mobile-firefoxAccording to the Mozilla Developer Wiki, the first release of Mobile Firefox, codenamed Fennec is expected to see a target release of next week for the first version of the browser, which is to launch first on the HTC Touch Pro according to the latest information.

Mobile Firefox has been a highly anticipated release for the open-source organization ever since it was first announced and released last year as a proof of concept desktop application. It remains to be seen what improvents and additions are in store for the new release as it faces competition from Microsoft with Internet Explorer Mobile 6, Opera Mobile, and other nascent browsers such as Skyfire.
