MetroPCS Launches Pay-by-the-Minute Plans, Exclusive to Wal-Mart

MetroPCS has launched two new service plans exclusive to Wal-Mart locations in Pay-by-the-Minute denominated in $20 and $30 monthly plans with 500 minutes/$.04 with unlimited text messaging and 50MB of web access or 1000 minutes at $.03 with 100MB of web access.  The slate of phones compatible with the new plans includes the Motorola Quantico, LG Lyric and many other non smartphones.
