Following the reveal of the LG Bryce as the LG Esteem for MetroPCS, the first solid details have surfaced on a launch date for the new flagship Android smartphone for the carrier.

In a new listing for dealers and retailers, the launch timeframe for the Esteem has been pushed up from its original late October-November timeframe to a new earlier timeframe with the current launch date set for September 26th.

As previously reported, the Esteem features a 4.3 inch display, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 512MB RAM, front facing camera, main camera of unknown resolution with flash, HDMI output, microSD slot, Android Gingerbread 2.3.4, 4GB internal memory and WiFi hotspot support, which would make it the first Android smartphone on MetroPCS to support such functionality on an official basis.
