Latest Windows Phone 7 Update Still Causing Issues

Humberto Saabedra

Following up on the previous Windows Phone 7 update that caused issues for Samsung owners, the latest update that was meant to fix the previous issues is now causing more issues of its own, centering on a new error code “800705B4” with no description of the issue. To make matters worse, some customers are unable to perform the typical recovery methods (pulling the battery, performing a back up, clearing storage space, hard reset) after attempting the new update.

Microsoft has responded by telling owners to hold off on the update once again as it looks into the issue.
