Google Voice-HangoutsIn yet another update to Google Voice following the last one that added cross-carrier MMS support, Google has announced that Verizon is the latest carrier to support MMS through Google Voice, which means that all of the major US carriers now support MMS through the service. This follows the last update whereby Verizon initially did not support MMS through Google Voice and MMS support has now been extended to Google Hangouts as well. Rather than sending an MMS through Hangouts and the message being turned into an email with a link attached, the message will now show up as a standard MMS message regardless of carrier. Finally, Google has confirmed that group MMS messaging will be added to Google Voice and Hangouts in the future.
