First Press Image of Forthcoming Sprint LG Rumor 2 Surfaces

As our intrepid Editor In Chief revealed today, Sprint will be launching a revamped version of the hugely successful LG Rumor, now known as the Rumor 2. The Rumor 2 marks an evolution of the horizontal slider with an additional row of keys for number input along with upgraded hardware including EVDO data, a 2 megapixel camera with video recorder, and Sprint’s much-maligned OneClick user interface.
The phone is expected to launch this quarter, though employees have been instructed to expect the phone in the middle of the month according to internal marketing schedules.
