Daily deal site DailySteals is currently featuring the Motorola LapDock 100 dock for select Motorola models, though the dock can also be used with other Android smartphones, owing to its breakout cable combining HDMI+USB connectors, making it easy to use the dock with other non-Motorola smartphones. The Motorola LapDock 100 is compatible with the following phones and features the following specifications:

• 10.1” screen
• Full keyboard
• Make and take calls and texts
• Super-thin design
• Weighs just 2.2 pounds
• High-definition screen
• Charges phone while attached
• 2 finger scroll capability
Compatible With:
• Atrix 2
• Droid Razr
• Droid 4
• Droid Razr Maxx
• Photon 4G
• Droid Bionic
• Electrify

The key feature of the LapDock is that select Motorola smartphones feature the now dead Webtop Linux distro that featured a full desktop version of Mozilla’s Firefox and filesystem access,  making it a more portable alternative to full-sized laptops and netbooks. The deal is active for the next 5 hours.
