AT&T has announced its own version of the Galaxy S 4 Zoom smart camera, following in the wake of Verizon’s own release nearly 1 year ago. The AT&T version is identical in terms of specifications and hardware, save for LTE band support.

The smart camera will be made available on Sunday November 8th for $199.99 on a new 2 year agreement or as low as $25 monthly on the AT&T Next purchase method. The Galaxy S 4 zoom is a 4G LTE smart camera with phone features that features a 16-megapixel camera with 10x optical zoom on the back. The lens has a manually adjustable zoom ring that allows users to spin the ring to zoom in and out.

The Galaxy S 4 zoom captures video at 30fps in 1080p or 60fps at 720p, and features a built in Xenon flash and 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera. The device’s screen is a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED™ display and the camera features the following specifications:

  • 10x Optical Zoom
  • Smart Modes –Choose from one of 25 pre-set camera modes, like Sunset, Best Face, Drama, and Panorama to capture the best photo possible
  • 16-megapixel BSI CMOS Sensor – The built-in Optical Image Stabilizer helps keep the camera lens assembly perfectly still, reducing blur and improving image quality
