Virgin Mobile Announces Ocean 2 As Part of Britney Spears Circus Tour

Virgin Mobile has confirmed in a press release that it plans to distribute the forthcoming Ocean 2 multimedia and messaging device to selected concert goers as a part of the “Virgin Mobile Presents the Circus Starring Britney Spears” North American tour beginning in March.

Each venue in the concert will supply selected fans with a new Ocean 2 device to document the concert via various features such as text/email/multimedia messaging via the revised Ultimate Inbox, video uploads direct to YouTube and MySpace, as well as photos to the venerable Flickr service. 

In related news the device is now expected to launch early next month in preparation for tour promotion.
