Update: New article with teaser trailer

A teaser video has surfaced with references to the fictional TV network Mayonaka as found in the Persona 4 video game on YouTube. Going to the site mayonaka-tv. reveals a countdown clock done in the artstyle for Persona 4 set for early Monday morning Japan time, while the source reveals the address of  www.p4a.jp, a currently unpopulated webpage. The Aniplex mobile site has further confirmed the adaptation, announcing it on the homepage.

The anime adaptation will be produced by Atlus parent company Index along with Aniplex under the Index Corporation / P4A Committee. Atlus previously supervised the production of another Persona anime adaptation in Trinity Soul, licensed by Nippon Ichi in the US and also produced by Aniplex, with elements taken from Persona 3.
