ting-logoAfter months of waiting, Ting has announced that it is now offering the Nexus 5 as a part of its own device lineup and in its own transparent way, also confirmed a $95 markup for the device from its site. While the company is making the device available, it prefers selling BYOSD SIM cards to devices and prefers having its customers save money where ever possible. Ting confirmed that even with the markup, it’s still selling the device well below cost, meaning that Ting benefits more from the SIM card sales than device sales.
